MLG was founded when Diana Maier decided she wanted to engage other women attorneys in the top of their field to lawyer in a whole new way. Instead of directing her attorneys towards a traditional conflict model, Diana urged her employees to approach their work with the assumption that they could change the world for the better if they lawyered according to their most deeply held values. She imagined a team of very happy women lawyers doing their best work and being their best selves: compassionate, full of integrity, and joyful. Diana was certain this was the best way for MLG to skillfully advocate for its clients while reflecting a paradigm employers could embrace in their own workforces.
