Katie’s practice focuses on conducting impartial workplace investigations. Katie is a graduate of the AWI's Training Institute for Workplace Investigators and an AWI Certificate Holder (AWI-CH). She has a wide range of experience across multiple fields, including employment, litigation, antitrust, and corporate, which provides a multi-layered approach to her practice.
Previously, Katie was a Litigation Associate at Jones Day, Of Counsel at The Mitzel Group, Judge Pro Tem for Marin County Small Claims Court, and a chemist and research scientist in the biotechnology field.
Some of Katie's favorite pastimes include hiking with her family on Mt. Tam, playing bocce at Albert Park, and poking around local bookstores. One fun fact about Katie is that she is one of the few who have exchanged wedding vows on the continent of Antarctica.
