Margarita’s practice focuses on providing support for employers by providing advice and counsel, drafting employment policies and procedures, providing employee training, conducting workplace investigations, and representing employers in litigation. She advises and counsels on compliance, labor and employment, personnel, and contract matters. She also represents employers in mediations, arbitrations, state and federal courts, and administrative proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, Department of Fair Employment and Housing, and Division of Labor Standards Enforcement.
Before joining Maier Law Group, Margarita worked as general counsel for Paradigm Hotels Group LLC and Engage Hospitality LLC, where she represented these companies in employment and labor matters, counseled them regarding personnel matters, and oversaw the Human Resources department. Margarita has also worked as an associate at several law firms where she represented companies in the hospitality, retail, financial, real estate, and technology industries in wrongful termination, retaliation, wage and hour, and breach of contract litigation.
Outside of the office, Margarita enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, going to Giants games, playing tennis, and watching live music.
