No matter what kind of law practice you have, you need to comply with data privacy and data security laws, generally, and follow lawyers' ethical duties with respect to privacy, specifically. In this presentation we deliver a primer on data privacy and cybersecurity law and best practices, and teach lawyers the key areas of privacy law and associated ethical obligations they must know and follow. The training is a key way to educate law firms about how much technology they must understand and use in their practice, and in which circumstances. This training offers one California CLE ethics credit.
