What services do you provide?

Maier Law Group (MLG) provides the following serivces:

  • Mediating traditional legal disputes and workplace interpersonal conflicts

  • Investigating workplace and Title IX complaints

  • Advising employers about any HR situation under the sun

  • Coaching employees to refine their leadership and communication skills


What are your hourly rates? Do you offer nonprofit rates?

Attorney rates for advice and counsel and workplace investigations range from $375 to $575 an hour. Please see our standard and nonprofit hourly rate sheets by clicking on the downloadable attachment.


What kinds of investigations do you do and who on the MLG team conducts them?

MLG conducts workplace and Title IX investigations in English and Spanish. You can learn more about our investigations practice here and in the downloadable flier.


How much will a full workplace investigation cost?

It is not possible to predict the exact number of attorney hours required to conduct an investigation but we have seen past investigations fall into specific ranges depending on the complexity of the matter. Please click the link for more details.


What is Diana's mediation background, and what do her clients say about her ability to resolve matters?

Diana has received rigorous training from The Center for Understanding in Conflict and has over 100 hours of coursework in coaching fundamentals at the Coaches Training Institute, the most rigorous professional coach training and certification program in the industry. She was also trained by and serves on the panel of The Northern District Court of California in addition to mediating for several other jurisdictions. She mediates private matters and is also sought after for workplace mediation matters. You can read more about her experience and her fees in the download.


What is the process for mediating workplace conflict and how do you charge for it?

Every mediation is different and Diana will hold initial, separate discussions with the parties to first understand what each party wishes to achieve from the mediation. During the actual mediation process, Diana acts as a facilitator to move the resolution process along step-by-step. The downloadable factsheet explains this process in more detail and provides the option of both a flat fee and an hourly rate for the entire process.

 

How much does workplace training cost? What trainings do you conduct?

Our training topics include preventing sexual harassment, workplace professionalism, promoting workplace diversity and inclusion, and how to conduct workplace investigations.
