SENIOR counsel

Kelly represents employers in a broad range of employment matters.  Her experience includes consulting on, investigating, and assisting employers in all aspects of employment law, including issues of employment contracts, federal and state wage and hour requirements, Fair Employment and Housing Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII, and related tort and contract laws arising under state and federal law.

She has extensive experience in advising and counseling corporate officers, human resource managers and outside counsel regarding hiring, discipline, termination, anti-harassment and anti-retaliation policies, and wage and hour requirements.  Kelly frequently drafts and updates employee handbooks and policies, employment and IC contracts, and severance agreements.

Kelly earned her AB degree in Communication, graduating cum laude from University of California, Los Angeles in 1986.  She received her law degree from University of California, San Francisco, formerly known as Hastings College of the law, in 1990.  There she worked as an Editor on the Constitutional Law Quarterly

In her free time, Kelly enjoys traveling domestically and internationally, including visiting her grown daughters in Denver and Los Angeles, is an avid reader especially of historical fiction, and is a big fan of San Francisco Giants.
