Kristen advises professionals regarding all aspects of California employment law, including compliance with state and federal wage and hour laws, compliance with discrimination, harassment, and disability laws, disciplining and terminating employees, and administering leaves of absence under state and federal laws. Kristen regularly responds to charges of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation from the California Department of Fair Employment of Housing or the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, as well as audits from the Department of Labor Standards Enforcement and other government agencies regarding worker classification and compensation. She also defends employers in civil actions and pre-litigation disputes. With more than a decade of experience, she brings her strategic advice and solutions-oriented approach to each client, providing practiced expertise and individualized attention.
